Yeah, I didn't blog this morning. And chances are you won't be here 'til tomorrow morning. Nothing like switching schedules and upsetting the apple cart, huh? Well. Y'all know me well enough by now to know I'm not going to do the expected thing at the anticipated time. And we all get by. I've had better weekends and I just wasn't in the mood to write anything last night, and God knows I had no time this morning to be remotely creative, so there you have it.
Good God, Boss Lady can now slink and waddle her way up the stairs, so I had her to deal with this afternoon. Not that she gave me any crap. I was kind of hoping she would, because I was in the right kind of mood to get in her face, you know what I mean? The day will come, and woe be unto Boss Ladies who really aren't smart enough and tough enough to be latter-day Torquemadas.
So, hey, kids, how was your weekend? Anybody do anything exciting? Illicit? Nasty? Puh-leeze tell me, because this girl could surely use a small vicarious thrill. Y

Serena...
My son moved out and I cleaned his bathroom. Talk about nasty.
What? That wasn't the nasty you were going for?
My life isn't exciting? Yup, you're right. But I'm living without dependents, yay!

My weekend was quiet. I took three books out from the library so they've been keeping me off the streets and out of trouble!
I went to the park with the chilis cause it was 55 degrees here. I'm trying so hard to send some over to my lovely blogger friends on the east side. ;)
I made a cheesecake. And you know how much the cooking goddess hates me, but I think it turned out. I think...
love ya!

Oh, good grief, Quid, you did do the nasty. LOL. I really, really love having no nasty bathrooms to clean, so maybe my weekend wasn't all that bad.:-)
Reading's great, Lee, and I love it myself. And sometimes, books even give me ideas for getting out on the streets and into trouble.:-)
It was in the high 50s here, too, Snow. Felt like heaven! Oh, geez, I love cheesecake. Not that I'd try making one myself, because the cooking goddesses really have it in for me. But since we now know you can make them, maybe I'll move in with you and the chilis.:)
My weekend was suckass, but now I'm day 2 into 10 days off, and I am content to start considering an assault on the army of dust mites that I've allowed "free range" in my abode. My pet rock saw my secret stash of Lysol bombs, and is dreading the coming war...
Oh, Lord, I'm envious, Skunk. 10 days off. *sigh* Poor Seymour; don't let him get in the Dust Wars crossfire.:)
No unless one considers creating a terrorist cell, meth lab and unlicensed Strip-Club in the privacy of my basement exciting, illicit and nasty.
I think that qualifies on all three counts, Pugsley. Send pictures!;)
I just got back from San Francisco. I spent 7 days playing in the sun, went to see Wicked, went to Haight-Ashbury. Toured Alcatraz. Had dinner in Chinatown. Walked through Golden Gate park. Visited my cousin, the comedian and toured his collection of 15,000 DVDs (and I'm not exaggerating). So yeah...I had a pretty good week...
Sounds terrific, VE. Glad you had such a good time.:)
My weekend Sucked!
My weekend was spent in reading Merchant of Venice & Anthony & cleopatra
Aww, poor Galen. All better now?;)
Hey, Mona. Hope you enjoyed your reading.:)
SJ, you can move in any time. Maybe we can find a place for you at my lawyer friend's office, because she is an absolute dear.

Why, thank you, Snow. I'm not much of a cook, but I promise not to give the chiles ptomaine or anything.:)
