Much To Be Thankful For

You Are an Indian

It's likely that you spent a lot of time outdoors as a kid.

You feel comfortable and at peace in nature. You identify with Native Americans.

You are a truly helpful and giving person. You like to lend a hand.

And while you do your best to do the right thing, people haven't always been kind back to you.

I'm taking a little holiday break, so y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, take time to count your blessings, and I'll see you on the flip side.

What Your Thanksgiving Meal Says About You

When it comes to the holidays, you follow and love the big traditions. You look forward to them every year.

You see the holidays as a time to think about what's important to you. It's a good time to reflect and regroup.

You like the aspects of the holiday that remind you of your childhood - opening presents, treats, and old favorite foods.

During the holidays, you are likely to feel comforted. At your worst, you feel a bit over-indulgent.

You consider yourself to be a bit of a purist, and you're proud of it.

You tend to spend your holidays doing everything and anything. You really get into the holiday spirit.

Hey Serena...I must be on another parallel planet. Your gas price widget is now way higher than our prices out here. I just say Regular Unleaded for $1.84 today. I NEVER thought I'd see such a price (and I can guarantee it won't be that come summer).

Happy Turkey Day!

It also said I am an Indian. Now all I have to do is wait for an outsourced job to come my way. Cha-ching!

The other test said that my Thanksgiving meal says that I'm very thankful for vending machines and cheap hooch. Until the cheap hooch kicks in. Then I rapidly start becoming less thankful and more surly.

VE, I'm not sure where the info fed to the widget comes from. I got gas for $1.69 the other day. I doubt the price stays low for long, but it's a welcome relief while it lasts. Happy Turkey Day to you!:)

Wow, Galen, you got your gas way cheaper than mine. We'll never see gas under $1.00 again, but $1.59-$1.84 is better than $3.00-$4.00. Happy Thanksgiving!:)

Not so fast, Tonto-pug. Most of the Indian casino jobs aren't being outsourced. There's much to be said for cheap hooch, though. Cheers! And a Happy Thanksgiving to you.:)

Mike, wishing you a hale and hearty Thanksgiving as well.:)

Don't you love it when those are the last words, /t.? I can't help it; I'm a carnivore.:)

Mona, I concur with /t.'s words on the ongoing tragedy in your country. What a terrible thing. I hate it that these things happen.

I dunno 'bout what my meal says about me, but I know what my dishes say about me: I'm chipped and haven't been done in a month LOL...

And another myth about Thanksgiving goes phffft: just travelled to and from the family gathering NW of my domicile. And I'm hyar to tell you: turkeys are getting liberated. Yassim...liberated. Not all turkeys got et this Thanksgiving. An equal number of 'em were on the road, behind the wheel...
*ducking boos and throwd giblets*

LOL, Skunk. I guess I'm dishes, too -- though I would hope I'm a fine bone china. Yep, lots of turkeys on the road, without even any stuffing and gravy.:-)

Serena,-/t, it has been a terrible ordeal for us & this is the worst ever attack. They have finally flushed them out after 60 hours operation. it is unbelievable that we saw it all live on our televisions. It was more gory than the goriest of movies!!

I'm glad it's finally over, Mona. It must have been heart-wrenching to watch.
