Some Fleeting "Something"

My head's in a really strange place today. I woke up this morning feeling like I want, or need, something. I don't know what it is, though. I feel as though I'm missing something, or have lost something and need to either find it or get it back. Yet, I don't know what it is.

I remember telling my grandmother about that "feeling" when I awoke with it one morning when I couldn't have been much older than twelve. She told me in her practical, no-frills way, "If there's something you really need, you'll know what it is when you need to know it." And she was right.

Maybe this is just one of those déjà vu moments. Or maybe it's vuja de. It's nonetheless a very disconcerting feeling, regardless of how many times I've had it before. Usually, it turns out to be much ado about nothing. Other times, it really is my subconscious letting me know that something needs to be changed. Sometimes, it's a subtle adjustment that's in order; other times, it's something that requires an immediate and radical change. Right now, I'm in no position to gauge which one it is. If the feeling is still hanging around tomorrow, I'll know that something's up and will figure out what to do about it. I hope.

Here's one of the lists of Words Gone Wild captured by Deputy Roxan while I was away. Some, I took the time to try and figure out. The rest, I leave up to you. I just can't do it; it makes my head hurt.

Well, if a Nintendo is really what I need, I suppose one will materialize. I've had stranger things happen.

Love the naked tortoise thing. LOL.

Ehhuz! That's fun to say. Sounds sort of like something a drill instructor would say.

Geez, I just had a Windows message telling me I needed a Korean language pack to read this blog. Still looks like English to me. Duh.

Word: zxlhu!

It looks like English because you are THAT good at Korean

No, Kan, I'm not qualified to be a caps cop. I think you have to know martial arts to do that. One of these days I'm going to get arrested for using caps to emphasize when I'm too lazy to do the tags for bold or italics. LOL.

Hey, Steve, how was your trip? Stuff may be slipping our minds, but at least we managed to find our way home.:)

Good diagnosis, Dr. Lesia. I think a case of good old-fashioned ennui is exactly what I have. I have to do "something" to cure it. As soon as I figure out what that something is, I'll do it.

My muse won't get up, either. You don't suppose your muse is sleeping with mine?:)
