She's Baaaaaack

Home feels pretty good after a few days away. I had a wonderful time, but I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight.

The wedding was spectacularly beautiful. Today's photo is one of the views of the Intercoastal Waterway from the marina where the wedding took place. (Some clarity was lost when I reduced it, for which I apologize.) The bride (my niece) was an absolute vision (photos forthcoming soon). Well, of course, she was -- everyone's always said she looks just like me. LOL. Seriously, she looked stunningly gorgeous, the weather couldn't have been better, the setting was perfect, and the company was beyond compare. The reception (both the official one and the unofficial one afterwards) was a total blast. I could have used a few more hours' sleep this morning, but I'll make up for it tomorrow. It's good that I'm taking the day off.

My dog is such an accomplished little traveler that she took it all in stride. She didn't even mind being left alone in the room 'til very late last night. I think she's actually developing a taste for hotel stays.

So, anyway, I'm home. I'm a bit tired, but the fabulous time we had was worth it.

Question: Do grownups really plug their businesses, advertise, and/or blog at MySpace? It strikes me as more of a venue for "kids," not serious professionals. From what I've seen of it, I'm guessing it's a virtual "hunter's paradise" for horny old men, but I'd think it would be more of a hindrance than a help in seriously attempting to project a professional image. Maybe it's just me.

Would make sense if your business is geared towards kids. Like movies or music or games.
Welcome back. The words have been going crazy without the law. I even found one on my page, but I think I got it before you did.

It was bestrode.

Bestrode, Kan? LOL. The law is back in town and the Outlands will be safe again. I have lists of words rounded up by the deputies; just haven't had time to decipher them yet. Tomorrow...

Yeah, y'all's thinking on it is the same as mine. I'd say that, based on who's now got a "space," the site is just being used as a brand new territory to trawl for fresh meat. With all the underage girls hanging out there, I'd be keeping a close eye out if I were their parents.
