Road Trip

I have a lot on my mind this evening. Nothing, alas, that anyone else would be interested in. I'm going out of town in the morning and ... I am not ready. I'm usually a paragon of efficiency when it comes to getting things done, but I seem to have some sort of block about this trip. Of course, it isn't helping any that the weather has been so schizophrenic. I procrastinated -- as usual -- waiting to see if I could predict what it was going to do. Finally, I decided "Go with warm things." Then today, the weather took another turn. It's actually going to be hot this weekend. Therefore, I have to repack. Mainly, though, I think I'm having a hard time putting one foot in front of the other because I just plain don't want to go. But ... I have to. Therefore, I have to buckle down tonight and get everything done. If I could just get myself into a mindset of "Just do it, already!" I could make much better progress -- and have some "down" time later tonight. We'll see. I'll either move my butt, or I won't.

What I do have an overabundance of today is Very Bad Words. Again, all but the first two spring from the same source as yesterday's lineup. That's truly amazing, isn't it?

distain -- Little man sees plane coming, spills drink on pants, runs around shouting, "De stain! De stain!"

This one doesn't need defining, but it does bear looking at since its author is very fond of putting "professional writer" on the old resume.

how long it must of took

The rest, I haven't the time or energy to ponder their meanings. Instead, I'm going to leave that up to you readers. Have fun!

Basted innards and gin. Yum, yum! You're too good at this; you're gonna put me out of a job. LOL.

Thanks, Kan. I "think" I'm ready to go. Of course, I'll be 100 miles down the road when I remember something I forgot.

Distain - don't stop here anymore.

Aptment - was apt to have meant those dwellings all put together which we call apart-ments.

Basterds - I see them floating on the lake sometimes. They're green.

Plreasent - It's hard to understand Asian accents sometimes. I think they really did mean "pleasant."

Have fun and hurry back.

Hey Serena, now that my stoopid doppelganger has visited, I thought I would stop by and say high! And to invite the PWZ.....It says its all about Politics, but it really all about life...

I like your site.....I will have to go look around, but feel free to visit either the PWZ or my PUb (but be warned the Pub is rated NC-17)...

Beware of trolls

Thanks for the heads up, Kan. Not to worry, I have troll spray.

Thanks, Steve. It really was good driving.

If you're the real Rex, then -- howdy! We need a code word so I can tell you (the REAL you) from your doppelganger.
