Liar, liar, pants on fire...

It's been a long time since I heard that on the playground. It's still apropos in a multitude of situations, though. People say one thing and do another. People will badmouth a thing and then join forces with it. People will send you virtual hugs and smiles one day and stab you in the back the next. It gets really, really old -- really, really fast. I've just recently been exposed to another dose of it. Which is fine -- I, too, know how to jab and joust. The wound is only skin-deep. I'll live. Will the other party?

Brevity rules today. I'm in no mood to wax philosophical, not in a verbose frame of mind. Liars are a thorn in my side. We all have to deal with them from time to time -- which means absolutely nothing, realistically speaking. The reality of it doesn't make it any easier to swallow, you know what I mean?

So, I'll just say this quickly and then get the hell out of here -- yes, indeed, the "L" word of the day, Liar, most assuredly applies to PublishAmerica. Anyone who's read this far in this blog knows why. 'Nuff said.

Things that we used to take for granted are sure a dying breed, Serena. Like honesty, integrity, dignity, respect...a sad but true statement of how times have changed in this crazy world we live in.
Funny how someone like Charlie Manson back in 1969 convinced a small band of derelicts that he was Jesus and that they carried out orders and killed for him.
Now all it takes is some so-called relgious figurehead rewordin the Kohran and masses of robotic minded slaves are willing to slay millions in the name of their god, and they don't see the evil and lies in that.
Hard thing for a pacifist like myself to see happen, let alone believe it can be done.
Great entry, by the way, sure gets one to thinking, in case you couldn't tell.
Peace, Serena!
