Is Justice Blind as a Bat?

There are all kinds of Justice; e.g., legal justice, rough justice, karmic justice, vigilante justice, poetic justice. Sooner or later, justice is meted out for all unjust acts. Sometimes, it sure is a long time coming, though. People get away with murder (sometimes literally) and nothing ever sticks to them, it seems. There are myriad reasons for that, I suppose -- they're good liars, they're conning people pre-programmed to be conned, they have an extra cunning gene, or maybe they just have good lawyers. In the end, though, they'll get theirs, one way or another, even if it's only poetic justice. Which is nothing to laugh at. A wickedly wielded pen can be ever so much deadlier than the sharpest sword.

It may be that poetic justice is the only Justice PublishAmerica will ever see. They do seem to have some kind of weird force field in place which allows them to keep on doing what they've been doing for the past seven years. So far, they've survived the sharpest of the barbs that have been written about them far and wide -- on Web sites, in newspapers, in blogs, and all over the Internet. But nobody's luck can hold forever. Justice delayed is justice denied, but it can't be denied indefinitely when it is so richly deserved.
